SAK Construction has an immediate opening for an experienced Machinist to join our team in O'Fallon, MO. The Machinist has primary responsibilities include supplying parts and fixtures for specialty construction equipment including OTR trucks, light-duty and heavy-duty operating equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Supply parts and fixtures for specialty construction equipment of various types and sizes from light-duty to OTR trucks and from light-duty to heavy-duty operating equipment
2. Build parts and tooling from drawings, hand-sketches, and/or verbal instruction.
3. Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools.
4. Perform related duties as requested in a team environment.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Must have 5+ years of experience with conventional lathes, etc.
3. Must be able to lift and/or transport +70 pounds.
4. Some travel may be required as needed.
