Description

Working in a office environment, the CIPP Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and company rules and regulations. Supporting the project manager and superintendent, the CIPP Project Coordinator facilitates the construction phase of projects by assisting the operations and project management groups.

  1. Work with field crews and subcontractors to monitor project costs and meet expected production rates.
  2. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  3. Assemble and organize project maps, logs, and information required for review of new projects by Project Managers, Field Engineers, and General Superintendents
  4. Utilize Excel spreadsheets and IT systems to organize and track installation data for use by field operations
  5. Assist with producing and managing the project schedules.
  6. Assist with permits and project compliance
  7. Provide project support for production, safety, quality and project management standards.
  8. Subcontractor compliance daily reports
  9. Support Project Managers and Superintendents as needed
  10. Acts as liaison for timely communication between field staff, upper management, the client, and headquarters personnel

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and may provide input to leadership on performance or other areas as requested.

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in an office environment where temperatures are typically regulated as found in an office environment. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computer, printer, copier/fax machines

performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and/ or stand; walk; push, pull, lift, materials weighing 50+ pounds. Employee must be able to drive, stand or sit for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Extended periods of sitting may also be required based on operational needs as may kneeling, bending and lifting overhead.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and hours of work will vary based on operational needs and including days, evenings, nights, weekends and possibly holidays.

Travel
Travel outside the region is not expected unless required by operational needs.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Minimum 3-year related field construction management experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. B.A. / B.S. Degree with a concentration in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (will consider equivalent experience).
  2. Experience in the water / sewer industry
