SAK Construction has an immediate opening for a Mechanic in the Detroit, MI area. SAK is one of the fastest growing pipeline rehabilitation contractors in the US.  We provide the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and routine lubrication services on various vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs, such as fluid levels, filters, and tire pressure.
• Perform mobile repairs on vehicles an equipment in the field.
• Replace air and oil filters as needed.
• Top off fluid levels, including coolant, transmission, and brake fluids.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Lube Technician or Mechanic
• Basic knowledge of on-highway and off-road construction equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Class A CDL preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days
